Acclaimed tenor Corey Shotwell and Steinway-artist Gerardo Teissonnière appear in recital at CWRU’s Harkness Chapel for an encore performance of Schubert’s iconic song cycle Winterreise.

Their recital will feature Evan Fein’s song “Letzte Brief,” a setting of Schubert’s final letter, written only days before his death at age 31.  Conceived as an overture to Winterreise and commissioned by Teissonnière, the song will segue directly into “Gute Nacht,” the first Lied in Schubert’s cycle.
